Our Favorite Memories of 2013

1. Shooting "God Neon" and "Always Two" in New York City

In the beginning of the year, we had the pleasure of shooting two music videos in New York City with an incredible crew of very talented folks. Director Krista Liney and Director of Photography Christopher Walters made it a great experience for the cast and crew, and we had a blast despite below freezing temperatures...

2. UK Tour with The Heavy

In March of 2013 we were honored to join our good friends The Heavy for a SOLD OUT tour of the UK! This trip was incredible, and includes many of our favorite memories from the year. The tour was made even better because we were joined by our good buddy Benjamin Bruce, and photographer/extraordinaire Rebecca Joelson!

3. Recording "Friends Divide" at The Bubble in Austin, TX

We spent quite a bit of time in Austin this year recording with the incredible Frenchie Smith and Sean Rolie. In addition to long hours in the studio, we found a few chances to get outdoors and have some much needed recreation.

4. Summer North American Tour

We traversed the entire continent of North America during the Summer of 2013 doing some headlining shows, meeting up with ZZ Ward and reuniting with our buddies The Heavy. Mostly, we were just trying to outrun the tornados!

5. 91X Wrex The Halls, San Diego

We spend most of our time away from our hometown of San Diego these days, but we couldn't have been happier to close out the year with 91X's holiday show, Wrex The Halls, at the San Diego Sports Arena. We were honored to join Queens Of The Stone Age, Vampire Weekend, Cage The Elephant, Arctic Monkeys, Alt-J, and J Roddy Walston and the Business for a night of incredible music!!! We also had a good time with our friends from 91X that have showed us so much love and support in 2013. Big thanks to them for having us!!!
